Psyonix Details the Road Ahead For 'Rocket League'
Psyonix just laid out its plans for Rocket League content this year. The team says it's testing out a new update schedule that alternates between Content Updates – which includes competitive seasons, maps, and events – with Feature Updates that focus on functionality.
"This alternating schedule lets us update on a more frequent and regular cycle, guarantees you won’t have to wait too long between Competitive Seasons, and lets us spend more time perfecting and bug fixing features before they go live," Psyonix writes.
In the coming months, Rocket League fans can look forward to the start of the seventh competitive season in February, new licensed premium DLC in March, and single elimination tournaments later this year.
