'PUBG' ASMR is a Thing, Apparently
Autonomous sensory meridian response, or ASMR, is a tingling sensation that typically begins on the scalp and moves down a person's neck and spine. It can be triggered by listening to a soft-spoken voice (famed painter Bob Ross was an unintentional master of ASMR) or ambient sounds like someone writing or striking a match. Apparently, there's a whole sub-section of YouTubers who create ASMR videos, and they're now using PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds in their work. According to Kotaku, some have had success over the last few years incorporating chill games like Animal Crossing into their videos. But, using PUBG is admittedly a bit weird. You can see how it works in this video courtesy of Eman ASMR.
