Retro Platformer 'Save Me Mr. Tako: Tasukete Tako-San' Coming to Switch

Nicalis, the publisher behind indie gems like Cave Story+ and The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+, brings another retro-inspired game to the Nintendo Switch and PC later this year. Save Me Mr. Tako: Tasukete Tako-San tells the story of a pacifist octopus who rescues a human woman from drowning. An octopus fairy (yes, that's a thing) sees this act of kindness and gives Mr. Tako the ability to survive on land, where he can help improve human-octopi relations. Save Me Mr. Tako is the work of French indie developer Christophe Galati, who created the game as an homage to the Nintendo Game Boy. There's no word yet on release date or price.
