'Ark: Survival Evolved' full launch delayed

You’re going to have to wait a bit longer to play the full release of Ark: Survival Evolved. Developer Wildcard announced on Friday that the open-world survival game will now officially launch on Aug. 29 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It was previously scheduled to launch on Aug. 8, but Wildcard said completing Gold Master and certification for retail release took longer than expected. The game has been in early access for more than two years. “We're deeply apologetic for those who were negatively affected by the delay; it sucks, it wasn't what we had wanted, nor planned but where we currently stand,” Wildcard said on its website.
