Cheap Trick first started plying their unique brand of hard-nosed, guitar-driven power pop in any Midwestern bar over 40 yearss ago. Over that time, the Rockford, Illinois, quartet have seen more than their fair share of ups and downs, and they've played more than 5,000 shows since forming. They will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on April 7th, an acknowledgement of hits that span Seventies mainstays "I Want You to Want Me" and "Surrender," as well as the 1988 ballad "The Flame," which made it all the way to Number One on Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart.
