Sting has released a multimedia iPad app that tells the story of his solo career. Sting 25 uses interviews, concert footage, photos, music videos and more, guiding users through his discography, influences and activism. The app is free, supported by big-name advertisers.

Users can "find audio commentary, concert footage, music videos, original sketches, lyrics, photos, tracks and even the instruments that all had a part to play in the last 25 years of Sting's life," explain the developers. Has it really been so long since Ghost in the Machine?
