Lady Gaga's ensemble for her new video, "Marry The Night" has been revealed (see it in the image to the left): It's a custom-made double zip lambskin jumpsuit from New York City designer, Asher Levine. In a press statement, the video is described as "bloody" and also a "nod to New York downtown refinement." As always, Nicola Formichetti handled the styling.

• Gaga and Formichetti also debuted a new behind-the-scenes short promo film for MAC Cosmetics. It's a look into her latest work for the Viva Glam campaign, the proceeds from which benefit the MAC AIDS Fund. As you can see, Mother Monster mode is still in full effect for the singer.

Kanye West is back from a disgraced runway debut in Paris, but he's still a moving media target, this time attracting ire and intrigue for his choice of fashion at Occupy Wall Street: a $355 Givenchy plaid shirt, $1,000 Balmain jeans and a major gold chain.

• In perfect synchronicity with her pregnancy, Beyoncé has announced the launch of a maternity wear line for her label, House of Dereon. She told Harper's Bazaar, "All I see now are clothes that are flattering on a pregnant woman... I love figuring out designs that still make me feel edgy and sexy while pregnant." She added: "I still rock my stilettos."

• Hamish Bowles, Vogue's European Editor At Large, auditioned for X-Factor, much to the delight of the fashion community. released the  video evidence this week:

• Stop everything: Rihanna has been declared the "Sexiest Woman Alive" by Esquire. Could her recent Armani ad have helped draw the conclusion?

Katy Perry's ads for haircare brand GHB are out. In them, she's in full roaring 1920s regalia, and seemingly channels Snow White for good measure. If this look sticks, her Jazz Age aesthetic overhaul is not unlike the one Florence Welch is flaunting these days.

• Triangle Records' rising star Balam Acab, whose songs peppered the Fall 2011 and Spring 2012 runways – and who, rather intriguingly, scored a Beyoncé L'Oreal commercial this past spring – continues his pervasion of the fashion world with a hallucinatory mixtape for Vogue Paris. Download it here.

• Venus X, who dominated New York Fashion Week's runways with her mindwarping soundtracks (read her Rolling Stone interview here), collaborated with Ghe20 Goth1k sidekick Shayne to put together another neckbracing mix just for downtown retailer Opening Ceremony. Download it:

• International readers may be familiar with Asia's largest pop group and infamous fashion fiends, 2NE1 (Jeremy Scott is a close friend). They will be catering to both their music fans and style admirers when they perform at Crooz's November 12th event, a large-scale Japanese occasion celebrating both worlds. With Will.I.Am producing their music, can a major US crossover be far behind?
