Who Wants to Buy Ronda Rousey’s Honda Accord?

Ronda Rousey has come a long way. So long, in fact, that she’s finally ready to part ways with something very dear to her heart: The car she used to live in.
The UFC champion is selling her 2005 Honda Accord LX on eBay. It’s the same car she camped out in while saving money to rent an apartment following the 2008 Olympics, and, since opening with a $3,000 bid, the whip has climbed to almost $19,000 in three days — and isn’t showing signs of slowing down anytime soon.
The car has clocked in 156,098 miles (perhaps a few more once Rousey’s mom drives to and from the grocery store) and is in need of a new transmission. Other than that, it’s running just fine and comes packed with plenty of memorabilia from Rousey’s life, stuff like medals, hats and figurines. Which is another way of saying it’s full of junk. But it’s Ronda Rousey’s junk!
“There are many of Ronda’s personal belongings inside the car, including medals, UFC programs from past events, patches, hats and all kinds of random Ronda items,” her family writes on eBay. “We like to joke about all of the cool things you find in Ronda’s car. Every time you open the door, it’s like an archaeological dig! Also, Ronda did glue a few medals, patches, coins and figurines to the inside of her car which probably aren’t going to come off.”
Ronda herself even added a heartfelt tribute to the car — which she calls “Fonda” — on the dashboard, and has just one request for the winning bidder: Treat Fonda right, and no jerking it.
Got it? Good. Anyway, it’s important to note that Rousey won’t be present at the time of pick-up. (Bummer, I know.) But potential deal-breaker when it comes to owning a piece of history from “the most dominant athlete alive“? That’s for you and your bank account to decide.
