Watch Will Hill Beat the Browns With Insane ‘Kick Six’ TD

The Baltimore Ravens win on ‘Monday Night Football’ thanks to a crazy blocked field goal. Man, Cleveland can’t catch a break

The Cleveland Browns were a field goal away from notching their third win of the season on Monday. Then, they fucked up in the most Browns way possible.

At the tail end of a wild Monday Night Football tilt with the Baltimore Ravens, the Browns – who had just tied the game when backup QB Austin Davis hit Travis Benjamin on a 42-yard score – got a gift after Ravens’ QB Matt Schaub threw a costly pick. Of course, Cleveland messed around with the clock, but they made it all the way to the Baltimore 33-yard line, where they set up rookie kicker Travis Coons (a perfect 18-for-18 on the season) for a game-winning 51-yard field goal. A little long, but, still those are pretty good odds…even for the Browns.

Of course, what happened next was incredible – if not seemingly inevitable. Ravens defensive end Brent Urban, who was so excited to play in his first NFL game on Monday that he couldn’t fall asleep the night before, used his ginormous paw to swat Coons’ attempt. The blocked kick found its way into the hands of Will Hill, who snatched it up, got a couple of blocks and turned on the afterburners for a “Kick Six” touchdown.

Game over: Ravens 33, Browns 27.

“I was praying for a block,” said the man of the hour, Hill. “I said, ‘If we get a block and it bounced my way, I’m going to take it to the end zone. Luckily, it did. The ball bounced the right way.”

Of course it bounced the right way. It’s the Browns. And they’re now tied with the Titans for the worst record in football.
