Watch the Dallas Mavericks Troll ‘Frightened Man-Boy’ DeAndre Jordan
The Dallas Mavericks may forgive DeAndre Jordan one day, but it doesn’t look like that day is coming anytime soon.
During the offseason, we were treated to one of the more intriguing cases of cold feet in NBA history, when, after agreeing to a four-year contract with the Mavericks, Jordan made the most of the NBA’s moratorium period by backing out at the 11th hour to rejoin the Los Angeles Clippers. All of this played out at his home in Houston, where Jordan’s Clips teammates made a last-ditch effort to get him to re-sign. Many emojis were involved. Blake Griffin even barricaded a door.
Unfortunately for the Mavericks, Jordan’s decision marked a huge swing for the franchise. Rather than having a young center to compliment Dirk Nowitzki in the twilight of his career, they were left filling the roster with scraps in a last-minute attempt to remain relevant. For the Clippers, it left them in exactly the same spot they were when the season ended – as prime contenders in the Western Conference.
So, it’s not surprising that the Mavericks are still pretty mad about the way things went down. The good news? They’ll get the opportunity to express their displeasure when Jordan and the Clippers come to town next Wednesday. And to make sure the home crowd was more than prepared to boo the living shit out of him, they were treated to an animated video – “The Frightened Man-Boy” – of how the saga unfolded during Tuesday’s game against the Raptors.

It might be worth tuning in next Wednesday, if only to see how many more ways the Mavericks can troll Jordan before he breaks.
