Watch Roger Federer Go Back in Time in Hilarious New Commercial

Roger Federer missed the Olympics, won’t be at the U.S. Open in a few weeks to try and win in Queens for the first time since 2007, and will spend the rest of 2016 on the sidelines, probably always wearing something embroidered with his crest – which is baller. Tennis fans miss the player who is still ranked Number Three in the entire world despite not being on the shelf for the foreseeable future, so thankfully there’s this episode of “Legends of the Game,” hosted by Bill Macatee, that shows “the confidence stance, the powerful frame, the dashing good looks” of the multi-time Grand Slam winner to keep us busy. Leaving no stone unturned, the mini-documentary looks at Roger’s career from the “Golden Age of Tennis” in the early 20th Century to his “bad boy era” in the 1970s to his colorful phase in the 1990s.
Wait a minute…
So obviously Federer isn’t around a century old. He’s no Benjamin Button, and he probably never rocked a truly sweet mullet (or maybe he did and those photos haven’t surfaced just yet). But the normally cool, calm and collected tennis god does let his guard down a little in this Mercedes commercial. It’s rough to watch any tournament and not see him out there, but seeing Federer do his best John McEnroe and Andre Agassi reminds us that no matter what, Rog is timeless.
