Watch Chaotic Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz UFC 202 Press Conference

Birds being flipped and bottles flying everywhere

So it’s pretty obvious that Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor really don’t like each other, and that the two fighters are taking their upcoming fight maybe more seriously than they’ve taken any of their previous matches. But judging by what just went down in Las Vegas, it’s more than just bad blood between the two. And right after McGregor said “we will do it three times,” referring to a third fight between the two somewhere down the line, things went off.

You had to expect sparks to fly at the press conference for Saturday’s UFC 202 rematch between McGregor and Diaz, but it descended into full-blown chaos as McGregor, Diaz and members of Diaz’s Skrap Pack started chucking bottles at each other in a room filled with media and fight fans. While the trash talking has mostly been relegated to late-night talk shows and McGregor going totally off on another script and spending some time pissing off the WWE, this video shows things falling apart really quickly.

As you can see, things go from a few flipped birds to McGregor and Diaz’s crew totally ignoring the fact that they’re throwing things into a crowd of what sounds like really freaked out innocent bystanders. There’s a ton of shouting, and McGregor cocking back and throwing like he’s launching a ball from the outfield.

The hype for this one has already been through the roof, starting with Diaz’s upset at UFC 196, McGregor saying he was retiring after and then saying he wasn’t. The rematch was announced, and now you have just a little over 48 hours before the two meet in the Octagon for what will no doubt be a bloody fight. And these guys sure know how to sell it.
