It’s not easy being one of the most famous athletes in the world, especially if you’re foliclly challenged. Just ask LeBron James, the man who has photo galleries dedicated to the disappearance of his hair.

Or Jordan Spieth, the No. 2 golfer in the world.

Though he’s been a pro for less than three years, Spieth’s hair has long been a professional punch line – the subject of barbs from his fellow golfers and tribute songs set to the tune of Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep.” GQ even offered some tips on how he can combat his hair loss, all the while offering reassurance by listing the world’s most powerful bald men.

One of those men? Larry David, the comedic genius who believes confident bald men are “diamonds in the rough.” So it should come as no surprise to learn that, in a new interview with Golf Digest, the Seinfeld creator came out as a Spieth supporter – in part because of his receding hairline, but also because he knows the tough road 22-year-old duffer faces going forward.

“He’s going to be a bald man,” David said. “He’s going to be wildly bald. This makes him way more appealing to me. It’s one thing to handle the pressure of the back nine at Augusta; let’s see how he does when he sees all that hair in the tub. That’s pressure. I’ll be watching him very carefully. He’s 22. He’s got three years, maybe four. He’s done.”

Just don’t rock a toupee, Jordan. David has a strong opinion about those.
