Gronk Joins Instagram, and Nothing Will Ever Be the Same

New England Patriots pass-catching party machine Rob Gronkowski has had a busy offseason, taking to the high seas, doling out lap dances and hanging out at Oscar afterparties with Leonardo DiCaprio – and that was just in February.
And since you probably weren’t there for any of it, he’s bringing you up to speed on everything you may have missed. On Instagram.
On Tuesday, Gronk finally became one of the site’s 400-plus million users, launching @Gronk (bio: “The one and only RoB G from the New England Patriots”) in the biggest way possible: With a 60-second highlight reel of his wild ways. He’s the first athlete to utilize Instagram’s new 60-second video option – which will be available today for other verified accounts – and the multi-clip editing feature on iOS (which is available to all of us losers without the blue checkmark).
It’s cool and everything, but really, a minute probably isn’t long enough. Key moments in Gronk’s first video include him shouting “Wheeee!” on a slide, hitting things in the gym, relaxing at a spa day, listening to Gwen Stefani while his boys get their fades touched up, doing Rocky punches in the shower and, of course, hitting up the club.
We can’t wait for the sequel. Something tells us there will be plenty of material.
