Brock Lesnar Has Biggest Hands in UFC, and They’ve Gotten Even Bigger
Brock Lesnar’s incredibly large hands are back to strike again. Other than a 7-1 behemoth named Choi Hong-man, it looks like Lesnar is the only dude to rock custom-made gloves in Nevada’s combat sport history. He fully embraces his advantage in that department, too, since he couldn’t stop thinking about “ramming my size XXXXL gloves into [Randy Couture’s] mouth” before UFC 91.
However, there’s a problem: It looks like Lesnar’s hands have grown even more over the years. In the lead-up to UFC 200, where he’ll make his highly anticipated MMA return to fight Mark Hunt this weekend, Lesnar tested the largest gloves the UFC had to offer (an XXXXL like he has worn in the past) but they were a little too snug for his liking. While he could slip them on, Lesnar is concerned that he won’t be able to wear them on the day when his hands are heavily taped.
“When you tape my hands, I don’t know if you’ll get the glove on,” Lesnar said. “I won’t be able to close my hand.”
Since the UFC doesn’t have anything bigger, the equipment representative said he’d do all he can do to make them fit — “We’ll get these stretched out for you the best we can” — but there’s no way that’s fool proof, right? I guess there’s only one way to find out.
