Video: On ‘Conan,’ Roger Waters Talks ‘Wall,’ Edward Sharpe Performs

Last night Roger Waters stopped by Conan to discuss his ongoing tour for The Wall. O’Brien began the interview by marveling at Waters’ height (he’s 6’3″). “You are extremely tall for a British rock star,” said O’Brien. “They are a tiny lot, most of them. The Who’s Roger Daltrey, I interviewed him in in the palm of my hand. He was four inches high.”

Later in the interview O’Brien shared his favorite part of The Wall. “In high school I remember the immortal phrase that got drilled in my mind, ‘If you don’t eat your meat you can’t have any pudding!”‘ O’Brien said, imitating the cruel teacher from “Another Brick In The Wall, Part II.” Waters one-upped him by doing a pitch-perfect imitation of the line.
Waters didn’t perform, but later in the show Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros sang their hit “40 Day Dream.” (Watch below.)
