Surprise: You Can Print from Your Cell Phone!

Google has recently had a good run. Besides buying online startups SayNow and fflick, announcing plans to hire over 6,000 workers and making phone number porting to Google Voice reality, now you can also print from your cell phone. Thank Google Cloud Print, which works with the newly updated Gmail for mobile app, compatible with iOS and Android handsets.
Physical copies of sales reports, contracts and incriminating letters from your best friend’s ex can all be reproduced from within Google Docs or Gmail via your mobile browser. To do so, users just open an email, attachment or document and choose “Print” from a dropdown menu. Files are sent to a printer connected to a computer running Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7 and the Google Chrome web browser, which then produces hard copies.
It’s reasonably easy to use and configure. Be extra careful whose inbox you decide to whisper sweet nothings in going forward.
