Springsteen, Seinfeld, Jon Stewart Lead Stand Up for Heroes 2016 Lineup

Bruce Springsteen, Jerry Seinfeld, Jon Stewart and Louis C.K. will lead an all-star lineup at the 10th annual Stand Up for Heroes event, which raises funds to assist injured service members and their families. Jim Gaffigan and more guests are also slated to perform at the November 1st event at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
Springsteen has been a fixture at the annual fundraiser, appearing at every SUFH event since 2009. Last year, Springsteen raised over $740,000 auctioning his own autographed guitars. Stewart, Seinfeld and C.K. are also recurring participants in the fundraiser.
“We look forward to Stand Up for Heroes each year not only because it’s grown into New York’s biggest night of comedy and music, but because a decade of laughter has translated into a lifetime of immeasurable support for our nation’s injured heroes,” Bob Woodruff, co-founder and ABC news correspondent, said in a statement. “As we commemorate the 15th anniversary of 9/11 and the wars that have followed, it’s important not to lose sight of the fact that a small percentage of our population stood up for us—it’s now our turn to stand up for them.”
Tickets for this year’s Stand Up for Heroes go on sale September 13th at noon EST at the Bob Woodruff Foundation site as well as Ticketmaster. The show will be presented by the Bob Woodruff Foundation and the New York Comedy Festival.
