You probably recognize John O’Hurley’s stentorian tone and silvery hair from the four seasons he played J. Peterman (and Elaine Benes’ boss) on Seinfeld. “I played him like a mix of Forties radio drama combined with a little bit of a bad Charles Kurault,” O’Hurley recently told Rolling Stone. Mixing a bit of fact with fiction, he’s been a part owner of the company since 1999 and serves on its board of directors. They are even in the middle of a Kickstarter campaign to liberate it from the banks – and creating the Urban Sombrero from Seinfeld as a bonus.
So who better to wish your mom a happy Mother’s Day? In case you forgot, Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 8th, so here’s a special e-card for you to send and share. As Peterman reminds you, she did raise you from the crib to adulthood, making sacrifices – and maybe even gave up red wine for nine months. So you can at least tolerate her rambling Facebook posts, right?
