Rolling Stone Celebrates New Classics With New York City Event

Rolling Stone will celebrate “The New Classics” – 20 creatives from the worlds of music, movies, TV, sports and more – on April 25th in New York City, presented by the all new Jeep Wrangler.
For its first New Classics editorial portfolio, Rolling Stone editors selected notables who would be shaping culture for years to come. Whether they’re rock & roll’s great new hope or an actor able to morph into whatever a role demands; a saxophone player reshaping jazz to respond to the moment or an iconoclastic Olympian with a political bent; a young novelist refracting modern America through the history of the Sixties or an indie-rock songwriter voicing outsider desire, they share a refusal to be contained by the rules of the past as they define the territory of the future. “The youth has the power to change everything,” Khalid tells us.
The event takes place at Highline Stages and will include a performance by Mondo Cozmo and music by Brendan Fallis.
