New MC Hammer Song Debuts on Flipboard
Not to be outdone by will.i.am’s line of custom smartphone apps or 50 Cent’s headphones, rapper and social media icon MC Hammer has released his latest song, “See Her Face,” via popular news aggregation app Flipboard.
A self-described “super geek” who’s presently consulting for or investing in eight technology companies, Hammer’s new track appears in a special Hammer on Flipboard section which lets you access music right from the application. The song will be available for listening only, with download options to follow, and it includes a photo gallery of pictures submitted by fans. An exclusive interview from Flipboard’s headquarters with the man who brought parachute pants to millions’ of early Nineties music fans’ attention is accessible as well. “Ladies when you see yourself in my Flipboard app tomorrow, you will see why I say, I have the most beautiful “Women” followers [sic],” Hammer said in a recent tweet.
In a recent appearance on Oprah Winfrey’s show, he claims to spend 10-12 hours daily working on his technology projects, and tweets 30-40 times a day. A behind-the-scenes video sheds more light on the unlikely collaboration.
