Nelly, Diddy to Do Super Bowl

Kid Rock, Janet Jackson also set for halftime show

Nelly, P. Diddy and Kid Rock have been added to the star-studded lineup for the halftime show at Super Bowl XXXVIII, set for February 1st at Reliant Stadium in Houston.

The trio of performers will join Janet Jackson, who was previously tipped to anchor the halftime entertainment program. Nelly is the ensemble’s Super Bowl veteran, having performed with Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige and Aerosmith at halftime in 2001.

This year, Aerosmith will return to headline the pregame festivities. Among the other entertainment set to precede the kickoff will be Beyonce singing the national anthem and Josh Groban singing his new single, “You Raise Me Up,” as a tribute to the space shuttle Columbia’s crew.

Super Bowl XXXVIII will air live on CBS.
