In fact, she was spotted out and about in London in a Guns N’ Roses t-shirt, demure cardigan and flats – a coy nod to the hearsay or simply coincidence? With Lana Del Rey, you never can be sure. She also has switched her hair color from her signature “foxtail” auburn to a more classic brunette. The singer is currently in London to perform an intimate, sold-out set at the Jazz Café.
Her warm relationship with the U.K. public shows no signs of ceasing, with Born to Die projected to reappear in next week’s Top 10 albums and “Blue Jeans” a solid Radio One staple. Meanwhile, English heritage brand Mulberry has pushed up the launch date of their Del Rey handbags, with some versions already available at various international locations. Their muse, her own best hype machine, continues to carry one in public, often paired with an offbeat baseball jacket and sneakers.
