Zuhair Marad – the man who designed Jennifer Lopez’s scintillating Oscars dress earlier this year – will be responsible for her tour costumes, the singer revealed in a press conference this week.
Lopez told People she’s still “thinking about the looks” but revealed, “There is a cape planned for the show. It’s not a Wonder Woman cape. You’ll have to come to the show to see it.”
Marads and Lopez’s collaboration for the 2012 Oscars ingeniously stole the show from nearly every other red carpet guest, making her the premiere highlight of Rolling Stone’s Fashion Scorecard Gallery, but it’s not the first time they’ve collaborated.
In 2010, she wore another of the Lebanese designer’s looks to the Met Gala, prompting tears from those who saw it, he claimed at the time. She also donned another glitzy Marad number upon the launch of her album, Love?, last year.
Whatever looks the two end up conjuring together, they’re guaranteed, on Lopez’s shapely form, to strike a sexy, maximalist note.
