Fall Out Boy’s Wentz, T.I. Prep MTV Shows
A pair of artists revealed plans for MTV shows today. First up is F’n MTV hosted by Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz, who earlier complained about the lack of actual music on MTV. To help fill that void, Wentz is bringing live performances and new videos from Panic at the Disco, Flo Rida, the Pussycat Dolls, Duffy, Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne and Vampire Weekend. The show, which will also boast a bevy of multimedia features online, will air Friday nights.
Then there’s rapper T.I., whose currently being followed around by documentary cameras for an upcoming eight-episode MTV reality series that will follow the rapper during his house arrest and as he performs community service and promotes the upcoming Paper Trail. That series is expected to air in 2009.
