Dallas Cowboys’ Linemen Sign Heavy Metal Record Deal

Free Reign, a heavy metal band featuring three of the Dallas Cowboys' 300-pound-plus offensive linemen, signed a record contract with Australia's Riot Entertainment, Sports Illustrated reports, making the group — which has been "kicking ass since March 2009," according to their MySpace page — quite possibly the heaviest heavy metal band of all-time in total tonnage. The 'Boys' guard/bassist Leonard Davis, tackle/singer Marc Colombo and center/drummer Cory Procter will play their final gig of the off-season on June 27th at Dallas' House of Blues, with their debut album due out in the fall. As New York Giants fans, here's hoping Free Reign find huge success in the metal scene and embark on world tours that coincide with the NFL season.
