BlackBerry Radio App Rocks With Streaming Online Music

Music discovery app BlackBerry Radio recently began beta testing with U.S. members of BlackBerry’s Beta Zone. The app itneds to make browsing favorite Internet stations simple, with a single software program offering access to multiple online streaming radio services such as Pandora, Clear Channel and Corus.

Users can quickly browse by genre to access radio streams from favorite terrestrial or online stations without having to tap into separate individual apps or interfaces. There’s ready access to premium services like Slacker, and the ability to purchase tracks from Amazon. Designed for use specifically with BlackBerry smartphones running BlackBerry 6, the app also integrates seamlessly with handsets’ media players.
