50 Cent Unveils Street by 50 In-Ear Headphones
Rapper 50 Cent‘s new STREET by 50 in-ear wired headphones have just hit the market. Currently retailing for $119.95 from SMS Audio, the chart-topping MC’s latest models utilize gold-plated connectors and custom-tuned drivers that purport to deliver studio-quality sound.
Available in black or white editions and sold with a bundled carrying case and six adjustable noise-canceling tips, units also include a flat, tangle-free cable with in-line microphone and custom controls for Apple devices. STREET by 50 models – which are designed for use with iPods, iPhones, iPads and portable media playing devices – join existing offerings sold under the same banner, which include wired over-ear headphone solutions.
Among the initial in-ear selections offered by the rapper’s audio manufacturing company, STREET by 50 selections could make an interesting option for hip-hop fans. However, it’s yet to be determined how units compare to SYNC by 50 wireless options, noted for their ability to share songs from a single source between up to four listeners.
