Watch 15 Leaked Super Bowl 51 Commercials Before the Big Game

Gal Gadot, Melissa McCarthy, Cam Newton, Tina Fey and more – these are the ads everybody will be talking about after Sunday’s game

With the Falcons and Pats only a few days away, savvy brands who shelled out big bucks for a Super Bowl ad are making the most of the all-consuming hype by leaking (aka releasing) their spots to the masses beforehand. This year's crop of commercials hawk everything from avocados to Audis and features famous folks ranging from Bieber to Brady. For a much-needed distraction from the current political climate, here are 15 of the most notable future Super spots, from the super awesome to the downright stupid.

Squarespace, John Malkovich on the Phone

What happens when you combine acting legend John Malkovich with website-building platform Squarespace? This spot features Malkovich on the phone… and that's pretty much it. It's no frills, but for Squarespace's big Big Game ad– it would have been nice to see at least some frills.

Budweiser, ‘Born the Hard Way’

In chronicling Anheuser-Busch cofounder Dolphus Busch's (supposed) immigration from Germany to the United States before starting his famous company back in the 1800s, Budweiser has waded into prickly territory considering our present day immigration situation. Whether or not the ad is viewed as anti-Trump or not, it's an epic, cinematic look at what it takes for some to pursue to American dream.

TurboTax, ‘Humpty Fail’

Taking the sting away from impending Tax Day (at least for a moment), Turbotax goes the comedic route with this ad featuring everyone’s favorite clumsy storybook character Humpty Dumpty. In a clever way to market their tax-preparing phone app, the company doesn't use flashy stars or gratuitous shots: just good, old fashioned silliness.

Honda, ‘Yearbook Squared’

Honda's ad for their new CRV employs a walk down memory lane as they've literally brought yearbook photos for stars as varied as Tina Fey to Stan Lee to life, complete with specially-recorded dialogue from the famous bunch. It's a smart way to turn some heads during the Big Game while featuring a ton of big names, and will surely go down as one of the best ads from the game.

Snickers, ‘Curtains’

Known for their inventive "You're not you when you're hungry" spots which have featured everyone from the likes of Betty White to the late, great Robin Williams, Snickers is going a different route this year by producing a live commercial with the help of Star Wars star Adam Driver. It's the first time since 1981 a brand has tried to pull of a live commercial (that’s when beer company Schiltz had a live taste-test), so there’s no guessing what may happen. According to this teaser, at least there'll be stunt horses.

Intel, ‘Brady Everyday’

During this year's big game isn't the only time you'll be able to catch a glimpse of star quarterback Tom Brady. This clever spot brings the power of instant replay technology to Brady's typical morning routine as we see him brushing his team and flipping pancakes. However, it's a stretch to imagine that Brady lives alone in something akin to a bachelor pad when we all know who he actually wakes up next to.

Skittles, ‘Romance’

Showcasing a hapless guy trying to woo his girl Katie, the chewy colorful candy brand Skittles shines with this silly ad that boasts some bona fide giggles thanks to a hungry family and a scene-stealing appearance by a rodent. Yes… despite the fact the world is burning around us, we still are allowed to laugh sometimes.

Nintendo Switch

It's safe to say this isn't your father's (or your) Nintendo anymore. In this extended Super spot for their newfangled Switch, Nintendo offers highlights of the fun to be had while giving their latest console a whirl to the soundtrack of Imagine Dragon’s new song "Believer." They've definitely come a long way from Duck Hunt.
