Watch the Band Perry's Spirited 'Stay in the Dark' on 'Fallon'

Sibling performers visit 'The Tonight Show' for television debut of first official pop single

The Band Perry perform their new song "Stay in the Dark" on 'The Tonight Show.'

Last week, The Band Perry announced My Bad Imagination, a brand new pop album due out later this year. With that announcement, they shared the new song "Stay in the Dark" and rebooted their social media profiles with a markedly more edgy aesthetic.

Last night, "Stay in the Dark" made its television debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Keeping with the song's theme, the band performed on a darkened stage, illuminated only by a handful of rotating spotlights. Sporting all black looks similar to those seen in their recent Instagram posts, Kimberly, Reid and Neil offered a spirited take on the love song, with both brothers switching instruments throughout the performance. Roots drummer Questlove joined the trio on drums.

The Band Perry have been relatively quiet since releasing the song "Comeback Kid" in Summer of 2016. That song came on the heels of the band's split with Big Machine Label Group imprint Republic Nashville and subsequent move to Interscope Records.

No firm release date for My Bad Imagination is available yet. "Stay in the Dark" is available on digital download and streaming services.
