On the eve of the release of their new album The Breaker, Little Big Town treated The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for a performance of new song "Rollin'."
Decked out in sparkles, the group breezes through the Breaker rocker, with Jimi Westbrook taking over on lead vocals. The song's giant chorus gives way to their trademark larger-than-life harmonies, while Westbrook and Phillip Sweet bang out crunchy, classic rock-inspired power chords on their electric guitars.
Before performing, the group joined fellow guests Susan Sarandon and Elijah Wood for a game of "Musical Beers," a Fallon-invented game that follows the rules of musical chairs but swaps out chairs for brews.
Sweet was the first contestant out, while Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman battled it out in the second round. One by one, Fairchild bested her competitors before facing off with Sarandon and ultimately snatching the final cup.
"I wore my tennis shoes!" Fairchild laughed, when Fallon commented on her "Musical Beers" skills. Watch the segment below.
The Breaker is out today. The group begins their 2017 residency at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium tonight.
