As any Home Free fan will attest, the fun of following the vocal group is wondering what popular song the quintet is going to cover next. In the past, Home Free have thrilled their passionate followers with interpretations of Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop the Feeling," Meghan Trainor's "All About That Bass" and "Elvira," by their kindred spirits the Oak Ridge Boys. Recently, the a cappella group revealed their latest song: a rich take on "My Church," the breakthrough hit by Maren Morris.
For the video for the performance, Home Free gathered around a vintage convertible (though not a Morris-appropriate Eighties Mercedes) to harmonize and make the song their own. Driven along by just voices and the group's unmistakable beat box, "My Church" takes on an even more spiritual feel, especially during the "Can I get a hallelujah?" chorus.
Home Free, who rose to fame on the NBC reality series The Sing-Off, are on the road in support of their latest album, Country Evolution. Their next show is July 29th in Redding, California.
