Hunter Hayes has unveiled the third installment of his music series with the boundlessly energetic track "This Girl." Co-written by Hayes with Jordan Schmidt, Andy Albert and Jessie Jo Dillon, the tune bounces along on a memorable guitar line and dreamy-eyed lyrics. Hear it above.
The follow-up to 2017's "You Should Be Loved" and "More," the former featuring doo-wop group the Shadowboxers, "This Girl" comes on the heels of two installments of Hayes' three-part mini-movie Pictures, both of which spotlight the previously released track and present an ongoing storyline that will conclude with the soon-to-be-released music video for "This Girl." The musician revealed last year that a one-time-only mini-motion picture event will take place in
"'This Girl’ was such a fun song to write," Hayes says in a statement. "Musically, going back to the roots of stuff I grew up listening to, and lyrically highlighting that side of someone that you only get to see when you've known each other for a while and how special those moments can be."
