The Rolling Stone Trending 25 chart highlights songs on the rise, offering a real time view of trending songs. The chart ranks songs by their weekly growth in streams compared to the song's average weekly growth for up to the past four weeks. Eligible songs must not be in their debut week, and must reach a certain threshold of consumption in on demand audio streams, and a minimum growth from the previous week in order to remain in the finalized trending chart. Each week, Rolling Stone publishes an official version of the Trending 25 chart, covering the seven-day period ending with the previous Thursday. These are not necessarily the songs that are most consumed; those are reflected on the Rolling Stone Top 100 Songs Chart.
