Mexican pop singer Ximena Sariñana stopped by the Rolling Stone studio recently to perform two songs from her brand new album, Ximena Sariñana, as well as a cover of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs hit "Maps." After the set, she explained why she wanted to write upbeat numbers for her second record and how she explored the possibilities of rich, layered production with TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek.
