Singer-songwriter Vanessa Carlton recently stopped by the Rolling Stone studio to perform a couple songs from her brand new album, Rabbits on the Run, and a cover of a tune by the Brian Jonestown Massacre. After the set, she explained how she got over a bad case of writer's block and told a story about how her song "Carousel" came to her in a dream.
