Metric Strip Down in the Studio

Emily Haines and Jimmy Shaw of the Canadian band Metric stopped by the Rolling Stone studio to perform stripped-down acoustic renditions of three songs from their new record Synthetica along with a haunting cover of Tom Waits' "Strange Weather." After the set, the two explained how they took control of their career by starting their own record label and their experience performing for the Queen of England.
