Lee Ranaldo Showcases Solo Tracks
July 16, 2012
Sonic Youth guitarist Lee Ranaldo stopped by Rolling Stone to play cuts from his new solo record, Between the Times and the Tides. Ranaldo also sat down to chat about what it's like being included on various top guitarist lists and how Between the Times grew from an acoustic project to something much more band-oriented. "The coolest thing for me," he said, "was that it was the most organic process, from these songs springing out of the guitars to adding Nels Cline and John Medesky and everyone else who played on the record."
