Fitz and the Tantrums

Los Angeles soul-funk band Fitz and the Tantrums stopped by the Rolling Stone studio recently to perform two numbers from their debut album Pickin' Up the Pieces and a cover of the Raconteurs' tune "Steady, As She Goes." After the set, band leader Michael "Fitz" Fitzpatrick explained how a difficult breakup and the acquisition of a vintage church organ set into motion a chain of events that led to the formation of the band.
