Diamond Rings

When Toronto songwriter John O'Regan performs under the name Diamond Rings, he's usually dancing to programmed beats and accompanied by video projections. When he stopped by Rolling Stone's studio recently, he took a more stripped down approach and played two songs from his debut album Special Affections on acoustic guitar. After the set, O'Regan explained how the project developed and how much he has been inspired by TLC and Janet Jackson.
