Mary Louise Parker in 'Disco Ghetto'

July 11, 2011

"Disco Ghetto," the first single from Jesse Malin and the St. Marks Social's latest album Love it to Life, features Weeds star Mary Louise Parker as a put-upon waitress who dreams of escaping from her misery and boredom at one of the band's shows. It's a fine complement to the song, which is all about going out dancing as a way of temporarily forgetting about the burdens of living in the middle of a recession that never seems to end.
