Apex Manor's debut album The Year of Magical Drinking was inspired by frontman's Ross Flournoy's depression after the breakup of his previous band the Broken West. "Just because I'm self-centered and self-absorbed, the songs that ended up being the best were the ones where I was writing about my foibles," he says in this clip.
