Earlier this week, Jimmy Fallon loaded up a week's worth of musical guests and surprises in one episode for his Tonight Show debut. Thursday night, Arcade Fire stopped by to add to Fallon's presumed goal of getting the biggest bands in the world all on his stage as soon as possible.

The Montreal band performed "Afterlife" from last year's Reflektor, with frontman Win Butler opening the performance in video selfie mode before performing in the middle of the crowd.

After welcoming U2, Lady Gaga and Tim McGraw for his opening week, Fallon will reunite with frequent collaborator Justin Timberlake for Friday's show.
