Roadies explores the lives of the behind-the-scenes people who make concerts happen, and it marks filmmaker Cameron Crowe's television debut. In this behind the scenes clip, he, producer J.J. Abrams and members of the cast, including Luke Wilson and Carla Gugino, explain how the crew is drawn together with a "passion for the music."

"I think some of the greatest stories are not about the family that we are born into, but the families that we make," Abrams explains. "The glue is not blood, it's music."

The one-hour ensemble comedy also features Imogen Poots, Rafe Spall, Keisha Castle-Hughes, Peter Cambor, Machine Gun Kelly  and Ron White. Guest stars include Luis Guzman, Jacqueline Byers, Finesse Mitchell, Branscombe Richmond and Tanc Sade. Roadies premieres June 26th on Showtime.
