For Miley Cyrus' first MTV Unplugged concert, Madonna popped by for a mashup of each other's songs: "Don't Tell Me" from Madge's 2000 album Music and Cyrus' chart-topping hit "We Can't Stop." Decked out in rhinestone cowboy outfits, they bumped, grinded, and jiggled their way on stage, while interweaving each other's hooks – and naturally, tongue cameos from both pop stars were featured.
Madonna has been on a tear this past week. She showed up alongside Macklemore and Ryan Lewis at the Grammys to sing a slowed down version of her 1986 single, "Open Your Heart," while 34 same-sex couples were married on stage. Yesterday it was also announced that she would introduce recently freed Russian punk outfit Pussy Riot during an upcoming Amnesty International benefit in Brooklyn (the show will also feature performances from Imagine Dragons, the Flaming Lips, Lauryn Hill and more).
As for Cyrus, she's about to embark on a 38-date tour behind her latest album, Bangerz. The North American arena tour kicks off in Vancouver on February 14th and features openers Icona Pop and Sky Ferreira.
