Cast your vote in our weekly poll

David Letterman stepped down as the host of the Late Show this week with an amazing all-star episode featuring everybody from Bill Murray to Tina Fey to the Foo Fighters. It was the end of an major chapter of pop culture history that began 33 years ago when NBC put him on following Johnny Carson.

Now we have a question for you: Who is the greatest late night talk show host in history? Feel free to vote for a pioneer like Steve Allen or Jack Paar, a legend like Johnny Carson and David Letterman or someone more recent like Jimmy Kimmel, Conan O'Brien or Jimmy Fallon. Anyone that's ever hosted a late-night show counts, even people with crazy brief tenures like Chevy Chase, Magic Johnson and Pat Sajak (see this list for assistance). Please only vote once and only for a single selection.
