Watch Thrilling First 'Rocky Horror Picture Show' Trailer

Laverne Cox-starring remake of 1975 cult classic to air around Halloween

The first trailer of Fox's 'Rocky Horror Picture Show' offers a grand introduction of Laverne Cox's faithful take on Dr. Frank-N-Furter.

Let's do the time warp again and travel back to 1975 with the first trailer for Fox's upcoming remake of Rocky Horror Picture Show. The short clip gives a glimpse at Laverne Cox's take on Tim Curry's Dr. Frank-N-Furter.

The clip begins with Brad (Ryan McCartan) and Janet (Victoria Justice) being greeted by Riff Raff (Reeve Carney). The brief trailer gives more than enough of an introduction to Cox's faithful take on Curry's Frank-N-Furter, nailing the character's seductive, dramatic accent.

The trailer promises a Halloween premiere of the remake, though an exact date has not been set yet. Alongside Cox, Justice, McCartan and Carney, the film will also star Adam Lambert as Eddie, Christina Milian as Magenta, and Annaleigh Ashford as Columbia. Curry will return, but this time he'll be narrating the event as the Criminologist. Kenny Ortega, who helmed Hocus Pocus and High School Musical, will direct the film.
