Hundreds of One Direction fanatics lined up outside Jimmy Kimmel Live! Thursday in order to witness the Made in the A.M. quartet's performance on the late-night show, and Kimmel had some fun with the 1D fans by sic'ing his Lie Witness News crew upon them. In the sketch, One Direction fans – or "Erections," as Lie Witness News reports the fan base is now referred to – are peppered with how they feel about a series of ridiculous, false news stories regarding the group, from Harry Styles' use of breast milk shampoo to Liam Payne getting rid of puppies all the time because they get "old and busted."
Of all the silly accusations, the most incendiary one comes when Lie Witness News asks one forgiving fan how she feels about Niall Horan's new eyeglasses, which are carved out of ivory from baby elephant tusks. "I'm recently aware of how they hurt baby elephants, so I think that's very said," the fan told Kimmel!. "I don't think he meant harm by it. I don't think he's doing it intentional to do anything bad." Plus, he looks so good that "it maybe doesn't matter."
