Watch Gordon Ramsay Try, Fail to Eat Girl Scout Cookies on 'Kimmel'

British celebrity chef grimaces through taste test, compares sacred American dessert to "dog biscuits"

Jimmy Kimmel revoked Gordon Ramsay's visa after the celebrity chef grimaced while eating his first ever round of Girl Scout Cookies

Gordon Ramsay struggled to choke down even the tiniest nibble of some Girl Scout Cookies, which he tried for the first time on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Wednesday.

While Ramsay has spent years in the United States — his show Hell's Kitchen is now in its 15th season — Jimmy Kimmel discovered he hadn't been privy to one of this country's most sacred traditions. "There's the American flag, and there's Willie Nelson and then we have Girl Scout Cookies," Kimmel cracked. "I just don't want to get you run out of the country."

The taste test, however, got off to an inauspicious start when Ramsay, presented with plates of Tagalongs, Samoas and Thin Mints, remarked, "They look like dog biscuits." Ramsay seemed able to stomach the Tagalong, but didn't react kindly to the Samoa. The Thin Mint, however, was the true test, but despite Kimmel's enthusiasm, the chef poo-pooed the cookie as "a cheap, half-rate dinner mint." Then he spit it into the trash.

"Well," Kimmel sighed, "Gordon Ramsay's visa just expired."
