Ewan McGregor pulls double duty as the suave "Parking Lot King of Minnesota" and his schlubby brother in the clever and violent new trailer for Season Three of Fargo. The show returns to FX April 19th.
The third installment of the anthology series, based on Joel and Ethan Coen's 1996 classic, is set in 2010 and centers around McGregor's Emmit and Ray Stussy, the former a successful real estate mogul and the latter a floundering parole officer who blames his brother for his misfortune. The new trailer teases out a string of nefarious activities that unravels from the Stussy's sibling rivalry, everything from petty theft and backroom gambling, to vehicular mayhem and, of course, the Midwest's special brand of murder.
Season Three of Fargo also stars Carrie Coon as a recently divorced police chief, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Ray's girlfriend – and one of his parolees – and David Thewlis as a loner and cutthroat capitalist. Michael Stuhlbarg and Jim Gaffigan are also set to appear.
